HOW REIKI WORKS

Life force energy (Ki) flows within the physical body through energy centres, and pathways called Chakras, and meridians, and around the body in the aura. Physical illness, emotional anxiety, mental stress or spiritual disconnection all occur when the natural flow of energy is impaired in some way. This can occur by everyday circumstances which accumulate and cause stagnant energy or blockages within the energy centres. Reiki helps break through these blockages, charging them with positive energy and raising the vibratory level of the whole energy field. It clears and balances the Chakras and meridians allowing the Ki to flow in a healthy, natural way around the whole of the body. Reiki will support and accelerate the natural ability your body has to heal itself.

Reiki is a holistic healing system. It is guided by a Higher intelligence so it will always find its way to the areas most in need of healing. It doesn't need any conscious direction from the healer or the healee. The receiver is subconsciously in control, drawing the energy that is personally needed to enhance their own natural healing ability.

Reiki can be successfully incorporated into many other therapies. It is particularly effective when incorporated with other 'hands-on' therapies.

Reiki is a truly wonderful energy which is about love, balance, and healing. Once you are initiated into Reiki you have it for life. When ever you need it, it will be there for you to heal yourself, others, animals, and many, many other purposes.
